Find out the secret to buying the perfect pair for your body type. No matter whether you're boy-shaped, Voluptuous or curvy, size 2 or 20, following these few simple steps will make the process a whole lot easier.
Your Shape: Plus-Size - The Perfect Pair: Boot Cut - For women with a fuller figure, tracking down the right jeans can be especially challenging. Try a pair with a small flare at the bottom of the leg — also known as a boot cut — to help balance out your hips and create a long, lean look. Choose a dark wash (deep indigo or black denim), which will give you a slimmer appearance. Added embellishments like large back pockets streamline the look and give you an extra booty boost.
Your Shape: Short Torso - The Perfect Pair: Low Waist - If you have a short torso, your best bet is to go with jeans that hit lower at the waist. This will make you look longer. Stick with fitted, straight-leg or boot-cut jeans that fall just below your hip bones. Steer clear of loose, baggy denim — which will hide your curves and look sloppy — but avoid jeans that go too low!
