| Hammond, located in Tangipahoa Parish, is considered the "Crossroads of the South." The city straddles two major interstates, I-55 which runs north and south and I-12 which runs east and west. Hammond is about 60 miles north of New Orleans, 40 miles east of Baton Rouge, Louisiana's state capital, and 70 miles west of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
The Hammond Harley-Davidson Shop promises to be the most dynamic and exciting motorcycle dealership on the Northshore! At a whopping 36,000 total square feet, the facility will feature a 7500 sq/ft showroom that will be packed with the latest in Genuine Harley-Davidson® Parts & Accessories, MotorClothes® Merchandise and Collectibles to compliment the 2009 model Harley-Davidson® motorcycles which are the most exciting new models in over a decade! The Service Department will feature all current factory certified Harley-Davidson technicians working in 12 state-of-the-art service bays using the most advanced tools and diagnostic equipment in the industry.
But, that's only the beginning. In addition, the Hammond Harley-Davidson Shop will also feature Harley-Davidson® Authorized Rentals and Rider's Edge®, Harley-Davidson's Academy of Motorcycling .. a course specifically designed for those who want to learn to ride a motorcycle. The course will feature the best certified instructors, and the classroom portion of the course will be taught in the training room located upstairs in the dealership. The riding course will be located directly behind the store on dealership property.
